How PayWithGuddy works
Sellers list legal goods and share product links. Buyers pay securely. Money releases only after delivery is confirmed.
-
1
Seller sets up Create a store, verify your NIN and ID (reviewed by our team), add a payout bank in the same name, list products, and share a link on WhatsApp or social media.
-
2
Buyer checks out One flat delivery fee covers everything in your cart from that seller (2 items or 10 - same fee). Pickup from the seller has no delivery fee. Any buyer protection fee is shown before you pay.
-
3
Payment is held You pay by bank transfer into a one-time Paystack account made for your order. The money is held, not sent to the seller, while the order is on its way.
-
4
Delivery PIN handshake The seller or their rider brings the order (or you pick it up). Check the item first, then give them the PIN from your order page.
-
5
Confirm and release Buyer confirms receipt (or the inspection window ends). Seller payout goes to their bank.
-
6
Dispute if needed If something is wrong, open a dispute and payout stays held until support resolves it.
What sellers can list
Open catalog - not fashion-only, not toys-only. Any product type is fine if it is legal to sell.
-
Allowed Physical goods, digital downloads where enabled, and lawful bundles - across any category the platform publishes. Describe items accurately and keep stock current.
-
Not allowed Illegal, counterfeit, stolen, hazardous without proper licences, or otherwise prohibited under Nigerian law. Listings that break the rules can be removed and accounts suspended.
-
One store per checkout Your cart can hold items from many stores, but each checkout pays one store so held payments and payouts stay clear.
